These terms apply to your use of the BirthWyn app, made by QuaintInc LLC (“we”, “us”). By using BirthWyn you agree to them. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

Not medical or psychological advice

BirthWyn offers comfort and encouragement. It is not medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it doesn’t replace your doctor, midwife, doula or mental health professional. The contraction timer and coaching are aids for relaxation and organization, not medical devices, and should not be used to decide when to seek care. Always follow your provider’s guidance. If you have bleeding, severe pain, reduced movement, signs of labor before 37 weeks, thoughts of harming yourself, or anything that feels wrong, contact your provider or call emergency services (911 in the US) right away. In the US, you can call or text 988 for mental health support at any time.

Content

Meditations, scripts, recordings, artwork and other content in BirthWyn belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t copy, redistribute or resell them. Faith-centered content quotes the World English Bible, which is in the public domain.

BirthWyn Premium

Premium is a one-time, non-renewing purchase made through Apple that unlocks the Premium features in BirthWyn for as long as the app is available. There is no subscription. Payment, refunds and family sharing are handled by Apple under its terms; you can restore Premium on devices signed in to the same Apple ID. Features may change over time as we improve the app.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the app, try to access Premium content without purchasing it, or interfere with our services.

Disclaimers and limits

BirthWyn is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those required by law, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for BirthWyn. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll update this page and the date above. Continuing to use BirthWyn means you accept the updated terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
